After clicking on the send error report option, the error(s) are analyzed by the Microsoft Error Sender, and suitable solution is found for it. If the program detects some bug or error in the process, then its patch is released, and hence sending the error reports is a nice habit.

But sometimes it really gets annoying when we are doing an important job, and suddenly everything gets closed and this window pops-up.

Here are the ways for stopping it :

Way 1 : Hit the Start button > Settings > Control Panel > System > Advanced, and hit on the Error Reporting option. A similar window will appear in front of you, e.g.

Choose the Disable error reporting option here, hit OK, two times. From now onwards, the Send Error Report dialog won’t appear in front of you on the particular operating system (on which you have disabled it).

Way 2 : Second way requires registry editing. follow the below steps,

  1. Hit the Start button > Run, type regedit and hit Enter button.
  2. look for the below registry key, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/PCHealth/ErrorReporting and if it doesn’t exist then create a new DWORD value by the name DoReport with value set to 0. If it exists already then set its DWORD value to 0.

These warning messages describe us the fault occurred while processing the request and sometimes also provides ways to correct them. But sometimes the messages are really difficult to understand.

The 1st method to find the explanation of that difficult error-message is, searching it on any search engine. But you won’t be able to select and copy the text present in those error messages, so we are forced to write them in the Search, by our own.

Ok, you can get rid of this problem by using this method.

(Note: Only works with Windows Error Messages, and this method can’t be used if you get error while opening any software)

Now open the notepad or some other text editor, and paste that text into it (or into some search engine directly) by hitting the shortcut CTRL + V.

For example, when some error window opens, hit the CTRL + C, it will get copied, and now you can paste it anywhere. 🙂

Allow Apps Installation from Non-Market Sources and Unknown Sources – Application Installation

You might have gone with the similar problem when you are installing some application on your Android Mobile Phone, and it says, “For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not obtained from Android market.”.

That’s ok, no need to worry about it.

This is done by default to block those applications which are not from the Android market, because they could steal your personal data or could contain some harmful data structures. So take the precautions before installing any non-market apps on your android phone such as checking its’ author and genuineness etc.

Well, now coming onto the point,
follow the procedure to install the non-market apps on your android phone,

  1. First of all Go to Main Menu > Settings
  2. Now look an option named Applications, click on it
  3. probably the first option would be Unknown Sources (Allow Installation of non-Market Applications) – Just Select this option by clicking on it

And here you’re done with it.

Now to install app on your phone just download any .apk file on your Computer and install it on your android phone.

And after installing the authentic apps on your Android Phone, remember to switch the Non-market Apps Installation OFF (by de-selecting the option which you did by the above provided method),  just for a few security reasons.

Enjoy. 🙂

How to Password Protect the Images and Files ?

If you want to send some private or personal message to anyone over the internet but have the fear of getting it leaked, then there is a way to make the files and images password protected so that when you share the file(s) or image(s), the authorized your desired person to view the respective files.

There are the following methods to protect images or files with your own password :

Way 1 : Creating archive file as password protected

It’s really easy to protect the files (image or something else) with a password. You can do it by using the Winrar Software. If you have already installed WinRar onto your computer system, then you can follow the below steps below to create a password protected image or file.

  1. Perform right click onto that image / file which you want to protect, then hit the Add to archive option
2 Methods to Password Protect Image Files
  2. Go to WinRar Advanced tab, and hit the Set Password option / button. Type your password and hit OK.
2 Methods to Password Protect Image Files
  3. Click Finish or OK to create an archive file, and here you go. The archive you just created is now password protected.

Well, if you are only concerned about protection of the images, then you could go for a software named Lock Image.

Lock Image is free and an open source program, to convert images into .exe files. The .exe file made with the software will contains image file which could only be seen by entering the correct password applied on it. LockImage is portable.

Here is the method to create password protected image by using the Lock Image,

  1. First of all, Download the Lock Image Program, extract its zip file and launch that extracted exe file.
  2. For protecting any image, drag and drop that image onto the application screen. Now visit File > Save, and write the file name and click on the Save button. Now it will ask for the password to be set on that image,
2 Methods to Password Protect Image Files

Enter the desired password and click OK. After completing all the steps, an password protected exe file (containing that image) will be automatically generated, and you’re ready to share this file.

In my opinion, the first method would be much better because .exe files are blocked when sharing through the emails and some file sharing websites. Moreover .exe files are not supported on the Mac, Unix and Linux Systems, as they are only made for the Windows Operating System. Why not post your opinion about it below.
